General knowledge is very important. We believe it is a basic, yet important element in the education of a child and adds meaning and richness to their perspective of the world. From the basic appreciation of heritage, destinations, and science, to their social and future work life, they could greatly benefit from having a wide range of general knowledge.
This is why we introduced Quiz Week this year. This school-wide event consists of an entire week of quizzes and games that teach and reinforce general knowledge, in a format that makes learning these information fun.
Each day of the week had a specific theme - Math, English, Science, History & Geography, Team Finals. All the games were team-based as well, where the students combined not only their speed, knowledge, and intelligence, but also their physical abilities to win for their respective teams: Semper, Spes, and Caritas.
