Pinang A's has always been running living skills classes such as cooking, car maintenance, basic grooming and first aid. This year, we delve deeper into the philosophy and hands-on techniques of first-aid, led by Uncle Clement, with the assistance of the supervisors. It was carried out over 3 consecutive Fridays.
The children were in for a treat. Uncle Clement was a First Aid Senior Instructor of the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Sandakan Branch. He used to conduct First Aid Trainings for the public as well as being the examiner.
Day One
The children were made aware of the seriousness of the topic and that it's not playing matter.

The objectives of the series were to make them aware of the importance of safety, and some basic ,practical know how in times of home emergencies.
The session focused on real-life situations, with an emphasis on accidents at home. It was light & fun, yet carried a serious overtone. The children enjoyed the session and paid attention to the lessons.
